How it works

  1. 1

    Pick a league

Open tonight's slate — every game and every posted prop.

  2. 2

    Read the evidence

Hit rates, the game-by-game chart, injuries and the likely matchup, with the model's probability.

  3. 3

    Build the slip

Add picks or take a suggested slip, with the chance all of it lands and what it pays.

Track record

Graded every day, in public

Every player call is checked against the final box score. Coin-flip calls (under 53%) and pushes are left out, so the number reflects real opinions.

Questions

What is Blackout?

A player-prop research app. It projects every player's stats, prices each prop at the line PrizePicks or FanDuel actually posts, explains why, and builds slips with the chance every leg lands.

Which sports does it cover?

NBA, NFL, MLB, WNBA, college basketball, college football and college baseball (college baseball has games and team picks, not player props).

Where do the lines come from?

PrizePicks (standard, goblin and demon lines) and FanDuel. Picks are only suggested at lines those platforms post — never at made-up numbers.

How accurate is it?

It publishes its own graded record, by stat and by day, on the Accuracy tab. Probabilities are honest estimates — no tool can guarantee a pick.

Does it account for injuries?

Yes. When a player is out, their usage is redistributed to teammates before lines are priced, and players listed as questionable are flagged.

How much does it cost?

It is free during the invite-only beta. There is no paid plan.

Is it betting advice?

No. It is for research, education and entertainment. Only bet what you can afford to lose, where it is legal for you, if you are 21 or older.
